Justify An Average Budget Of N7.28 Trillion For Buhari In 4 Years. by kernel01: 10:14am On Jun 01, 2019 |
President Muhammadu Buhari, presented an annual average budget of N7.28 trillion through out his first tenure. 2016 budget proposal of N6.07 trillion 2017 - N7.28 trillion 2018 - N9.12 trillion 2019 - **N8.83 trillion naira Surprisingly, Nigeria didn't experience an additional 3000 MW in the power sector. The overly celebrated power plant in Aba is just 141mw, while South Africa is using 50,000mw with a fourth of our population (50 million). Lagos-Ibadan expressway isn't up to 160km, yet it was inherited from the previous administration which was 40% done. Kaduna-Abuja rail distance is just 189.5 km, Ibadan to Lagos 130.9 km, Abeokuta to Lagos 105.3 kmn Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Warri 275 km, totalled at roughly 700km all these were passed on by precious administration, Ghana just started to construct 560km Railway Line In Ghana for $2 billion dollars, which is just N700 billion only. Second Niger Bridge's main work'll cost N210bn – FG, yet work done isn't up to 40% despite inheriting the project from previous administration. Can anybody explain, project(s) that tool as much as N2 trillion. Mynd44 |

Well you brought up a serious question that demands Answer. But the way you presented the question sound like you are trying to ridicule the federal government.sadly many nigga here thought we are paid for supporting this administration which is not truth. Personally I hate pdp and those who supporting them, from All ramifications Apc government are more objective and accountablits than pdp maladministrations. Pdp damage this country beyond repair. However you for got to add Some of the challenges that created impediments to full implementation of the Budgets particularly the capital expenditure, include the following: Being a deficit budget, the President will be required to secure approval of the National Assembly for the borrowing plan. The speed with which this process is completed will affected the execution of capital projects. In view of some cuts in the allocation to certain capital projects, the President was submitted a Supplementary/Amendment Bill. Do you know how quickly this process was completed? The due diligence process required for award of government projects was inadvertently delay the commencement of capital projects. Do you know how quickly the procurement process was completed? Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) of government was required to implement the newly introduced capital projects for which the required ownership of conceptualization, design and costing needs to be passed over by the National Assembly. Do you know the MDAs that required capacity and commitment to execute these projects? For example 2018 budget With six months into the calendar year, elections scheduled for February 2019 and subsequent inauguration, it wasn't possible that the Budget can enjoy full fiscal year of implementation. |

I like your points, but then... Even if you claim implementation isn't 100%, can we say 80% at least. 80% of N7.8 trillion should be visible. You said PDP was reckless, I think APC is more, here is my fact. Obasanjo First Tenure. 1999: N299bn 2000: N702bn 2001: N894bn 2002: N1.06tn Jonathan 2012: N4.9tn 2013: N4.99tn 2014: N4.96tn 2015: N4.4tn Physical structures. 1. 12 Universities 2.
