While most of the world was asleep, Nigerian born British heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua lost his fight to Mexican-American, Andy Ruiz.

Anthony Joshua lost all his three heavyweight belts, which includes IBF, WBA and WBO titles to Andy Ruiz.



Anthony Joshua was on course to beat Andy Ruiz after just 3 rounds but the Mexican staged a comeback never seen before as he stung the world heavyweight champion and knocked him out over 7 rounds.

As usual, fans of both sides, onlookers and people who have absolutely no idea about boxing have taken to micro blogging platform, Twitter to share their ideas and thoughts.

Meanwhile popular American professional boxer, Deontay Wilder also expressed himself on Twitter, calling the British a ‘fake champion’ and claimed he was always running, in his words “He wasn’t a true champion. His whole career was consisted of lies, contradictions and gifts. Facts and now we know who was running from who!!!! #TilThisDay’'.
