The case of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State seems to reiterate the fact that getting into power by chance is very likely to end in disaster. It was almost four years now that Audu Abubakar contested Kogi governorship seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC), but he died before the election could be concluded, thus leading to Bello’s choice to succeed him.
