Peace unto you in the name of our Lord Jesus

Sow to the Spirit and faint not

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Beloved, whatsoever you sow is what you will reap. Beloved, What are you sowing? Are you sowing rightly?

GOD will not deceived neither will He be mocked, He is GOD of righteousness and will give to every man according to his deeds. He is a just GOD and He is no respecter of persons. You can't expect to sow/plant carpet grass on a field and expect to reap rice.

GOD's standard is Holiness and He will never compromise Holiness for it is HIM. He Himself is Holiness. Beloved, this is conciousness that you must have on a daily basis and GOD's standard is Holiness and He will jugde every according to His standard.

So Beloved, this is more reason you must be mindful of what you sow into on a daily basis. You can ONLY sow in two ways:

1. Sowing to the flesh: the end result or the fruits of this type of sowing is corruption - death and eternal damnation. The flesh war against the Spirit.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

The flesh wants convenience, pleasures, fun, the affections of the World, the flesh does not want to please GOD. Flesh wants what the Spirit does not want or what the Spirit hates and whatever the Spirit wants the flesh hates. In the flesh abides sin, any man that live after the flesh will commit sin. And the wages of sin(living after the flesh) is death.

Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
From Rom 8:13, what is the end result of living after flesh? Death - eternal damnation.

Are you still living after the flesh? Make a definite change today to put off the flesh and its deeds. The deeds of the flesh are always against GOD'S standard of Holiness and will therefore attract His judgement.

So Beloved,
What are the things you set your affections on?
What are the things which you sow into that the Spirit of the Lord is convicting of?
What are things you do that you feel very bad after doing them?
What are those things that you have forsaken that are of GOD?

What are those things that are inconvenient for you but the flesh is asking you to forsake them? Explanation of the last question: the Spirit of the Lord is leading you to pray but the flesh says go to bed, you have work to do tomorrow, you are weak, you can always pray later, but you just finished praying in Church, will you kill yourself with prayer, you can pray later.

Beloved, the flesh will give you strong evidence for you not to do the will of GOD, the flesh will want you to live a life of convenience and this is against the Christian Life for the life of a Christian is not a life of convenience, if you are to live by the Spirit, you must inconvenient yourself (flesh). Is praying for long hours and fasting convenient? Is night vigils convenient? Doing the will of GOD is not convenient for a man still living after the flesh. Abraham obeyed GOD unconditionally even if he knows it will not be convenient.

Beloved, live a life of inconvenience that you might please GOD and not a life of convenience. In short, do not sow to the flesh and it's desires (sinfulness) for its wages is death and eternal damnation.

2. Sowing to the Spirit: the end result of this type of sowing is eternal life. If you sow into doing the things of GOD, to glorifying Him, to living for GOD, to obeying Him, the fruit of your sowing is Eternal life. Sowing to the Spirit is simply forsaking self and flesh and glorifying GOD in ALL no matter how inconvenient it seems.

Beloved, do you sow to the Spirit at all?
Do you do the will of GOD at all?
Do you please GOD in all you do, even if it will be inconvenient?
Do you obey your body and its calls than GOD?
Beloved, sow to the Spirit. Sowing is what you do in every seconds on a daily basis.

In whatsoever you are doing, you are either sowing to the flesh or the Spirit, there is no intermediate. Beloved, my heartfelt prayer is that you sow to the things of the Spirit. All you should EVER do is glorify GOD.

Always ask yourself a question when you are about to take any action?
Will what I am about to do glorify GOD?
What will Jesus Christ do in this situation?

I know the Lord is currently ministering to you on those things but you are still saying within you, 'it is enjoyment', 'it is not sin', 'it is not bad', and these sayings are of the flesh, the flesh will want to you to be happy with yourself, enjoy your life, have fun but this is not the essence of Christianity, you are to live ONLY to glorify GOD.

Beloved, in short, sow to the things of the Spirit so that you will be able to reap eternal life.

Lastly, as you keep sowing to the Spirit, do not relent. You are doing a good job that way. Do not be weary nor tired nor faints but keep sowing to the Spirit at ALL times though it may be inconvenient BUT STILL sow to the Spirit consistently, persistently and continually and surely if you do that till the end, you will be duly rewarded. Only those who persist to the end will reap the reward.

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in DUE season we shall reap, if we FAINT NOT.
