If INEC certified him as eligible and he won previous elections through this certification, what changed? Any lawyer worth his or her retainer fee would tear apart the case easily.

We don't have constitution, the paper we have contradict itself in many ways. SAN usually exploit that to squash case.

Examples are : Saraki, Buhari and Fayose cases.

He has even been cleared of same allegation since 2015.

Anybody found to have contravene the law of the land will be punished according to the constitution.

If the constitution states clearly, that an ex-convict cannot vie for an elective office, what's the big deal?
