In a week where AMD, Qualcomm and Intel have already announced some major new products, However, Microsoft’s keynote yesterday at Computex in Taipei was comparatively lowkey. Instead of unveiling new products, the company hinted at what it’s working on a modernized operating system. Even more interesting, Microsoft’s blog post about the keynote did not mention Windows, lending credence to viral speculation that it is developing a new “super-secure” Operating System.
