Afatex who's birth name is Andrew Afamuefuna was born on march 4th 1998 in Nsukka Nigeria. Afatex is a Nigerian recording artist, song writer and a rapper from Nsukka local government, Enugu Nigeria. Afatex is from a family of six and stands at the 4th position, he started his early education at Owere-umabor primary school (O.P.S) nsukka and went to further his education at Madonna international college Umabor and obtained his SSCE at El-shadai Academy likke Ihe-aka in nsukka.
Afatex who got admission into high school to study Radiography, dropped out of school to pursue his music career in Abuja Nigeria where he made his first hit single "Happiness" produced by his long time producer friend Mickency, mixed and mastered by sacha beats. In 2017 Afatex proceeded to Singapore to further his education but later dropped out and headed to Mali in a bid to further pursue his music dream, there he meet Reekado banks and others who encouraged him to keep his chase for music real and never give up.
In 2019 Afatex returned to Nigeria to chase his music career, residing in Lagos where he is currently working with lots of producers like Young John, Neduction, Kez and Tony Rose and has since made several hits.
In 2017 Afatex was nominated for several awards for his hit single "Happiness"....
