The Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) has suspended the license of Daar Communications PLC. The Director General of the NBC, Modibbo Kawu stated this Thursday evening while briefing journalists in Abuja. He said Daar communications have turned themselves into a bad example of what a broadcast station should be. This is '83-85 playing out right before us. If this was a military regime, or we still had core career military goons not the present crop of civilian military, what happened in '85 would have repeated itself when IBB and his boys struck. The same rigidity and high handedness are still being witnessed. |

daddytime: We don't have any military men in the country. The people currently calling themselves Soldiers are lazy, timid and frustrated guys who couldn't find jobs but got employed in the military as the last resort. |
