He's lucky this is Nigeria. In sane climes, he and his whole family will still be hiding in shame. I know one day, posterity will begin to consume all Nigeria's past rulers and politicians and their households. That day is coming! Sanity and moral values will soon return to Nigeria!
The funny thing is that, our past leaders are still our current leaders. undecided

lol....nigeria has lost about $450 Billion from 1975 to date. That money will be enough to build cities as beautiful as lagos and abj in all the 6 geopolitical zones.

Of that 450bill abacha probably stole around 5 billion. The remaining was stolen by military gov...civil servants...politicians and foreign companies

Only intelligent people know that Abachas name is being used to cover up other criminals that are still alive

And 'intelligent you' believes that Britain would be part of that conspiracy? To what ends?

He might be right, it’s been over 20years since he died n they are still recovering money. It may b dat some top dog got caught n They are trying to cover the real criminals while using abacha as a coverup
I agree with you. It can even be possible that Abacha and his family not aware of all these loots. Possible some topshots used his name to launder money for themselves.

.l have changed allegiance since in my adopted country ,l am a Nigerian by default, I only feel for the over 90 million citizens classified as extremely poor by world poverty clock and few relations still trapped in that headquarters of poverty in the world and the 6th most miserable country on earth, other than that the useless leadership in the country led by the skeleton called Buhari and his gangstas should fúçk off, anyone still supporting the useless politicians in Nigeria should have his head examined, with the extreme poverty, lawlessness, insecurity, ritualism, stealing, kidnapping, unemployment that is very high, lack of power, good roads etc despite the oil and gas in the country, mehn, that country is dead and beyond redemption grin

nairalaila:
Mahmoud Abacha, son of late General Sani Abacha who reacted to report of the newly discovered loot worth £211m and reportedly seized by a British court, has lashed out at those dragging his father over it.

Son of General Abacha who seems not to believe report of the loot linked to his father, prayed that God will expose those behind the act. He wrote;

"Rest in perfect everlasting peace baba. We love you, let your haters continue to drown in the evil pit of hatred until it consumes them ad infinitum. May God expose those behind the so-called "Abacha loot" as they remain quiet when his name's being thrown in the dirt and he cannot defend himself because he is dead. Amin. Continue to rest in peace, you will always remain the pride of Africa."
