Sometimes I try to imagine what Port Harcourt would have looked like in terms of the level armed robbery, without the operation of SARS. SARS is really doing a wonderful job in curbing the menace of armed robbery in this city. Thumbs up for SARS Rivers state (more kudos to the IGP monitoring team in Aluu, this set of police men has done noble in Rivers state). But I do not like the unprofessional manner in which some SARS men tend to do job sometimes; it's not good that unwarranted brutality is meted out to innocent citizens. The new SARS commander should do well to ensure that a drastic change is manifestly witnessed in the operation of SARS Rivers state, he should do well to entrench downright professionalism in the disposition and operation of his men.
