Vehicles that have been unused for months, some even without oil, do not just start. These cars can act nasty as a bear prematurely jolted out of hibernation, and you will see how wrathful it will be.

It does not matter if a vehicle has been unused for three months or more, certain practical steps need to be taken before you can get it firing again and head down the road, especially if you really do want to have many happy years on the road. Before delving in, it is important you carry out some basic checks, which include checking for leaks, corroded fittings, rotted hoses, or compromised seals. Do not forget to also check for leaks in such areas as; power-steering system, engine, transmission, rear axle, and brakes.
