Samunique:Hmmm, TIMID? Well, don't forget that a student is not above his teacher {Matthew 10:24} so if Jesus won't just tell an unbeliever directly that he is the only way to salvation, how do you expect his follower to disclose to you {who haven't gotten the conviction that you've met a true Christian} such a sensitive matter DIRECTLY just like that? Notice that whenever our Master is in the midst of a mixed crowd, he wouldn't disclose such! Nicodemus said to Jesus 'You are a man from God'{John 3:2} The Samaritan woman said 'Sir i perceive that you're a Prophet' {John 4:19} The young politician said 'GOOD teacher' {Luke 18:18} The young man said to Jesus 'Lord, permit me to go and bury my father' {Matthew 8:21} These are the type of people that Jesus do open up to them completely, but to those who are still doubting Jesus will speak in parables! Matthew 13:11 So don't expect a Christian to tell you 'it is well' when we're not having the same beliefs! Matthew12:46-50 compared to Romans 15:5-6, 1Corinthians 1:10, Ephesians 4:3, Philippians 2:2 1 Like |

halalMACburger:It profoundly ironic that the post that made you accuse me of ignorance which proves atheists right according to you, is yet justified by the extent of ignorance and sentiments displayed in your own post. For you to even begin your post on the note of contesting the number one status of the US as the most powerful and influential nation on Earth alone is blunderous and tantamount to taking off on the wrong foot. For that is not debatable because the US is clearly the undisputed number 1 nation on Earth, that even their enemies cannot deny it. And so that is not in question even to the atheists in this forum for you are probably the only atheist that thinks otherwise. And next, what do you understand by No 1 currency? The strongest? For even if you're speaking of the strongest currency, the British Pound is not among the first three, needless to say it's the first, for the first is the highly insignificant Kuwaiti Dinar. So does that make the Kuwaiti Dinar the world number 1 currency on Earth? The point is that to be the number 1 in the world doesn't mean you must be the strongest, for there are other factors that come into consideration such as influence, and that why Donald Trump who Is obviously not the strongest person on Earth, is the most powerful man on Earth. So that's the same thing with the US dollars for it is the most influential, most traded, most sought after etc., currency on Earth, and the standard with which every other currency is measured, so that makes it the undisputed number 1 currency on Earth. And the point is that on the same US dollar which is the unarguably the number 1 currency on Earth is inscribed the words "In God We trust", so does that suggest anything? So you're the one that ought learn to stop being blinded by such extent of atheistic sentiments because otherwise you would be prone to making such blunders as saying that the US or US dollar etc., is not number 1 in the world. A better and more reasonable argument would be on the basis the US not being founded upon religious principles, or that the foundation had nothing to do with the nation attaining that number 1 status etc., and not if the US is number 1 or not for that is incontestable. |

jesusjnr: The kuwaiti dinar is not as universal as the pound or the dollar. I can change pounds or dollar in any Large commercial bank anywhere in the world. However, the pound is stronger than the dollar. The usa is not even top 10 in the human development index for highly developed countries; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_Human_Development_Index#Complete_list_of_countries Furthermore, "In God We Trust" was not always on the dollar bill. Please, go and do some reading. 1 Like 1 Share |

halalMACburger:No point to keep spending my time on this pointless argument, for in spite of all I wrote to make you understand that this is not about who is stronger, but who is more powerful, you still carried on with your who's stronger argument. So i'm just going to use related links and other people's comments to show you how reading alone is not the solution to the extent of your ignorance and sentiments but understanding what you read. jesusjnr: https://worldpopulationreview.com/countries/most-powerful-countries/ https://ceoworld.biz/2019/03/05/here-are-the-worlds-25-most-powerful-countries-in-2019/ https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/world-most-powerful-countries-ranking-change-a8438711.html https://www.businessinsider.com/ranked-the-25-most-powerful-nations-on-earth-2018-6 |

Maximus69:you dribbled around defending a stance u made. Degenerating into this dismissive rant is immature. U act like many closed minded ppl do. They latch on to their beliefs. If questioned, they throw up a shoddy logically lopsided response. If that's faulted, they leave logic nd get emotional bf finally returning into their closed minded form again. Just like u r doing. The question i asked didnt need exchanges,by the way. |
