It can't be, that next week Thursday is the day they will inaugurate the new corpers in camp and the LGIs will be present in camp as officials.

Hehehehe.. Better wait for your July 4th jeje, that's how my own LGI said June 13th...lemme keep quiet sha

Lol our LGI didn't tell us shii. But we were asked to com for our terminal clearance forms. And from experience it is usually given a week b4 passing out

According to what I can read from his Email information. Everyone within the NYSC can read him on several maaters bothering us. Without having to go to Abuja. We can just copy and paste this message and forward it to the mail.

"Greetings Sir, Congratulations on your new appointment as the DG of NYSC. The batch B corp members has serious concerns as we see from the NYSC calendar that we are to pass out by 4th of July (for stream 1) and 8th of August (for stream 2). Where as our ID card expires by 24th of June and 29th of July. We are suppose to pass out on 20th of June and 25th of July as the normal custom of NYSC not to exceed 12 months. We plead with you Sir to look into the matter as many Corp members are missing out on Job opportunities and Interviews. And if there has been changes, we could be informed so that we can understand the reason for the delay. We appreciate your effort as you look into this matter"

Please forward to all NYSC groups, let everyone concerned send a mail. When the DG see's enough mails from this same issue, we believe he will do something.

We still need to reply him because this is Nigeria and we know Quite well say na scam, for there is absolutely nothing good because even the 30k minimum wage we cannot enjoy it again. Its too late.

But the truth is that releasing us this Thursday 20th June, would be the best way to show us love as your children. We don't have anything to be focused on because we have been on our 3 weeks terminal leave since 3rd of June as stated on our Posting Letter since our ID card expires on 24th of June, we basically have been in our various communities of primary Assignment doing nothing and tired. Many of us has missed out on Masters form already as schools like Unilag's Form is closed, other jobs and good opportunities are closing too. We really do appreciate your effort but think of it, our ID card for stream 1 expires next Monday 24th July. Nobody prays for anything bad, but what if anything happens to a Corp Member after the ID card expires, our parents would be crying asking why we did not return when we are suppose to return. Sir there is time for everything and this Thursday is the time for us to pass out, we plead you make it possible."
