A young Nigerian graduate and a member of the Nigeria Amputee Football Team has revealed how he became physically disabled.

Austin, who recently graduated from the University of Lagos, said the disability was as a result of malformation when his mother was pregnant with him and his late twin brother. He wrote:

"Ok ok.... Wanna use this opportunity to answer the questions many ppl hv been askin me bout ma physical disability..... According to my mom the doctor said i and ma twin bro (God bless his soul) was not properly balanced in ma moms belly, so my right leg was unable to grow properly.... It wasn't really easy growing up tho.... So many challenges but here I am today alive healthy and thank Everything that HAPPENED IN MY LIFE had to happen to MAKE ME WHO I AM TODAY
I have NO REGRETS IN MY LIFE
JUST SOME REALLY INTERESTING WAYS OF LEARNING WHAT NOT TO DO"

Ability in disability. God will see you through. You will remain a shinning light to all disabled who KNOW that their disability is only a stepping stone to greater heights and NOT an impediment. In fact I don't feel proud when I see beggars taking advantage of a stump in place of an arm or leg. The problem they have is just lack of plan and ideas!
