While the world continues to progress technologically, I swear by ALLāh, faster than its growth in technology, it is retrogressing morally and spiritually. While life seems to become easier theoretically, in theory, when you analyze life today, we have such advanced modes of transport, such easy ways of communication. In theory life seems easier than previous times but practically life has become more challenging than the previous times. Tension, depression and frustration has "By ALLāh" become the order of the day. Happiness, Joy and prosperity is becoming something of the past. The very fear that haunt the minds of every individual that are ever lurking "I must never become poor", I must never be diagnosed of cancer"...........this must never happen and that must never happen, the fear that are ever lurking, in the heart and in the mind of every man is sufficient depression in the life of every person.

The only way to avert financial depression, the only way to avert and divert financial depression is to convince yourself that ALLAH is THE SUSTAINER. When you have convinced yourself ALLāh is THE SUSTAINER, now the fluctuation in the currency, fake predictions of the economists, the competitors in the market will not make a difference to you.

So this is, the modern day poverty, that in the midst of affluence there is no joy, in the midst of comfort and luxury there is absolutely no joy.

Prophet Muhammad (solallahu alaihi wasalam) said in an authentic Hadith


عن أبي ذر قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ تَقُولُ كَثْرَةُ الْمَالِ الْغِنَى قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ تَقُولُ قِلَّةُ الْمَالِ الْفَقْرُ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ ذَلِكَ ثَلاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْغِنَى فِي الْقَلْبِ وَالْفَقْرُ فِي الْقَلْبِ مَنْ كَانَ الْغِنَى فِي قَلْبِهِ لا يَضُرُّهُ مَا لَقِيَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَنْ كَانَ الْفَقْرُ فِي قَلْبِهِ فَلا يُغْنِيهِ مَا أَكْثَرَ لَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَإِنَّمَا يَضُرُّ نَفْسَهُ شُحُّها

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “O Abu Dharr, do you say an abundance of possessions is wealth?” I said yes. The Prophet said, “Do you say a lack of possessions is poverty?” I said yes. The Prophet repeated this three times, then he said, “Wealth is in the heart and poverty is in the heart. Whoever is wealthy in his heart will not be harmed no matter what happens in the world. Whoever is impoverished in his heart will not be satisfied no matter how much he has in the world. Verily, he will only be harmed by the greed of his own soul.”


"know Abu Dharr, wealth in essence is the contentment of the heart and no Niagara Falls and no Victoria falls can give you that contentment, that is divine from ALLāh.

The one who has contentment in his heart, then no amount of calamities and tragedies will harm this man (or) depress this man, NOTHING IN THIS WORLD WILL DEPRESS THIS MAN.
