This post might sound disrespectful or anti social, but I want us to take a few moment to really have a deep thought about the MAN: MKO and the MANDATE: JUNE 12!

Is Abiola's life as a whole worth celebrating outside the JUNE 12 factor?

Are there any tangible gains Nigeria as a country is enjoying now, for being blessed with a man like MKO?

Who was MKO really besides all these JUNE 12 ula balu? How solid was his intergrity, strength of character, and genuiness of intents?

Well, many answers to these has not been given proper wide coverage by media, as all of them have been swept off by the JUNE 12 tsunami!

Let's ask ourselves genuinely. What are the legacies of the late financial mogul? Where are the institutions he affected with his billions, and are still serving the Nigerian masses?

Where are even the companies he founded while he was alive? Concord and the rest!

Most astonishing, where are his children in the Nigeria of today? Are they in anyway continuing their father's legacies; if any?

A leader must have followers. People who are duplicating you and prospering in their chosen fields. People who adopt your principles and lifestyle, and can be easily seen as your offshoot. Can we identify such people as emanating from Abiola's school of thought? Can we point to just one leader he helped made?

How about his social life? He was rumoured to identify his children by their ears just because he had many women he kept and yet couldn't trust them. He was untamed with women. Going for anyone that catches his fancy!

Even the secret of his stupendious wealth is in question, as there are rumours of some pictures, and someone been sent off, and another person replacing him. Pun intended!

So, what are we celebrating? MKO or JUNE 12?
Is june 12 more important than MAY 29 when we finally returned to DEMOCRACY? Or am I missing something here?

National monuments been named after a man without not just one single national legacy? Even some of his children are a cause of pain to some people now, by the virtue of his properties!

We will move faster as a nation when we stop vain worship, and empty celebrations!!

I rest my PEN...

Rumour has it that the man Abiola bought a whole lot of Bibles and sank them in the sea.

Was that true or false?

Nigeria government always pays attention to unachievable things, rather than addressing the problems that is on ground.
