Here is a video of a lady using sewage water to wash dishes in Lagos. According to a video making rounds online, the woman seen behind a fence washing the dishes with the water. The woman who's a food vendor in the locality, has sparked confusion for other roadside vendors and their customers. There's a similar thread where a woman somewhere in the S.E used unclean water to wash her Ugu leaves. The thread became a battle field for tribal war-lords to showcase their skills. And I'm expecting the same manner of stupidity on this thread. Truth is, these things happen everyday and Nigerians are unaware. They simply do not care about the condition and environment in which the food was prepared, they just want to eat. This is just a microcosm of their atrocities. If you visit where these road-side meals are processed, you will lose your appetite for weeks. It happens everywhere in the country, and road-side vendors are mostly the perpetrators of this act. But watch how some people will turn this into a tribal war when everything boils down to individuality. 3 Likes |
