Using Phone While Driving Will Burn Your Money & Soul: Why? by Naijautonews: 10:10am On Jun 17, 2019
You certainly have heard about this warning before, but do you really know the underlying reasons? If the answer is no, you need to check this article out.
Most of us have heard about this warning "Don't take phone calls while driving", yet we would do exactly the opposite. Despite the most gruesome reason is we could be involved in deadly accidents, many of us just neglect it.

So since your own death is not sufficient for us to persuade you to drop your phone, let's try other approaches. Just bear with Naijauto for 2 to 3 minutes and see if you would find our reasons for not using phone while driving sound persuasive or not:

1. Think about your loved ones!
Since most drivers are men and a great number of them are breadwinners of their families, what would the life of their loved ones be if they are paraplegic, quadriplegic or even die? Financial role aside, how could they live knowing that their loved one might never awake or be able to stand up from the hospital bed?

Not only so, how about they are actually driving their relatives when the accident happens? Their inattentiveness might result in the death of the whole family. Even worse, should they be the only person alive, they will have to bear the loss of their families with them the whole life.

2. Think about your wallet!
We just cover the worst situation, now let's move on to more lenient ones. First off, should you find yourself in an accident, scratch-free even on the bodywork of your car, but the involved party injured, you might be in trouble. In that case, even it's the other person's fault, the police might conclude differently since you're the one who has a distraction source in hand. Trust me, the legal fee is not very comfortable.

The legal and insurance fee would likely leave a deep hole in your pocket

If you and the other person got out of the scene unscratched, this accident is registered in your driving record. If you then have an intention to purchase car insurance, you will see that the price would be double or even triple the usual price if the insurance company get their hands on your record. There's no point in providing insurance for a neglect driver, just like they wouldn't sell insurance to patients already with deadly diseases.
