MT:
Thai should never participate at this level again. They should rather get busy bagging rice.
Thailand and Nigeria are relatively the same, Thai scored one goal Nigeria scored one while the other was an own goal except goals conceived

our super falcons found themselves in a very tough group, trust me, they would have performed better if they were placed in cameroun's group...sometimes u need to consider the strenght of ur opponents. I'm sure non of the african teams will survive that group A...and i'm also sure our falcons would have beaten new Zealand even more
@babs ...I agree with you to an extent..but largely because we also do not have a good programme and have scarce
Y developed our traditional style of play...the wings, building...from the back...using the flanks...chokingthe midfiled , slowing down dangerous oppositions and even ball control was wahala throughout this tourney...individually...we have some fine players but as a team we were a mess...
Only in one match, did I see a purposeful plan by a player coming from the bench to Oshoala...a lot of things hare my brother

No other African team can qualify from that Nigeria group... Before the tournament I said only Cameroon will make it out from their group bcs it was not as tough as others... I am even disappointed they needed to qualify from the group as one of the best losers
exactly my point too. Nigeria would have done better against new Zealand and they wouldn't even need to qualify as a best loser. I don't wanna bliv our falcons will be placed in the same group with Netherland, canada and New Zealand and still struggle for a best loser. Thats not possible

Ebere. Such a terrible left back. I dont know why she's always selected
Incidentally the defense was the most improved department in the last game...the re Chicago pressure couple with , we can't hold balls or string some passes...not to talk of that midfield ...kai ..a match to forget .
.oh..and madam commentator ...that girl dey sniff something grin

You get word jo. Check out the statistics. European teams are tops. African teams next apart from USA, Australia and Japan. Nigeria will beat most South American teams, most Asian teams and will thrash New Zealand. Haba, show some gratitude to this girls. Nigeria has beaten Canada at the World Cup before 2011. We might have topped China also.

i agree our players have their shortcomings and twas obvious they lack coordination especially in the midfield, it became so obvious because we played against a very tactical and highlly coordinated france and norway..but u shouldn't compare us with any of those African teams...cos they are even worst, they seem to play well cos they played against a weak new zealand who didn't even score a single goal in this tournament except an own goal

See, someone is just going at Ebere because of a dive and VAR. She is one of the solid reliable experienced hands in the team. To me, most of the experienced players, I mean people who played in 2011 or earlier should not be there apart from Ebere and Onome. Oparanozie, rita, ohale, Ikidi, etc should not be on the team, An attack with Oshoala, Ordega, and Kanu/Ihezuo would have ok.

funny part is that it would have been germany vs Cameroon and england vs chile if only chile had qualified instead of Nigeria. So i'm sure even cameroon will be glad we made it so they won't be the one to face Germany grin
