The Chairman, Kogi State All Progressives Congress, APC, Stakeholders Forum, Senator Alex Kadiri has called on Governor Yahaya Bello to pay workers and pensioners in the state before any reconciliation can happen.

This was contained in a press statement signed and issued by the Chairman of the forum, Dr. Alex Kadiri, after an interactive session with the governor by the leadership of the APC Stakeholders’ Forum.

According to him, the meeting which took place at Kogi state liaison, Asokoro, Abuja late on Sunday, was at the instance of the governor.

According to the statement, Governor Bello harped on the need for reconciliation in Kogi state chapter of the party and for there to be unity amongst members.

He urged both sides in the protracted party dispute to resolve their differences and move forward as one united political party.

Speaking on behalf of the Kogi State Stakeholders’ Forum, Senator Alex Kadiri made two demands: first that the state government should take steps to pay outstanding salaries and pension to workers and pensioners respectively so as to cushion the prolonged hardship they have been experiencing in the state.

Secondly, Dr Kadiri drew the attention of the governor to the non-implementation of the reports of the two reconciliatory committees led separately by Prince Tony Momoh and General Garba (retd), set up by Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the former National Chairman of the party.

He also reminded the Governor that resolutions reached during the interactive session with Vice-President Yemi Osibanjo before the last general elections have remained unimplemented.

Kadiri, therefore, urged the Governor to take time to read the reports as a basis for genuine reconciliatory discussion.

Yahaya Bello should coman learn how to offset Salary arrears from Governor Akeredolu. My Governor met 7 months arrears inherited from the previous administration and has cleared everything while paying salary as and when due.

If I hear say Bello go pay.

Kogi state University has rotted under Bello, grades are now for sale there for as low as 3k, project supervisors will not read your project without you paying.

To get anything done even in senate building, you will drop money.

Hostel accommodation has been hijacked by lecturers, they contract the sale of the hostel space to vendors around school.

All these because their salary has been messed up after Yahaya Bello kicked ASUU out of the school.

Ask any KSU student.

Someone should tell this misbegoten simpleton that winter is coming...

He boasted that the APC stakeholders are disgruntled dead woods with zero political value...

Igalas are coming for his scalp..

My pain is how recklessly this accidental governor squandered the goodwill of the youths and wasted the opportunity of the minorities.

Never again!

Well it's too late to talk of reconciliation because the man from word go has no good plan for the state and can only get worse. Trust him at your peril, worst figure of human being. He can only rival abacha, idiami, son of blood sucker and flesh eater.

Faleke is one of Tinibu's protege.... Oyegun wanted to whittle his overbearing influence which was his greatest undoing.

So Bello thinks the people that he owed money, salaries and pensions will vote for him for re-election. Well he is going for second term because he sees them as fools because what else can be a motivating factor to go the polls
Re: Kogi APC Stakeholders Give Conditions For Genuine Reconciliation With Gov. Bello by helinues: 6:55pm On Jun 24, 2019
If they should give him a second chance, they should forget the whole 4 years salary, allowance, pensions after winning..

Once bitten twice shy

In Bello's case, so many times bitten infinite shy
