I recently bought a domain with .xyz instead of the popular .com and when I wanted to add the domain my facebook page, it was rejected.

Facebook said the url is not valid.

Pls what does this mean?

pls I want to know if websites with .xyz are prohibited on facebook

It looks like spam link...So the page algorithms are blocking it from being accepted. Call me up on 0-8-1-3-8-6-6-3-6-9-7

Facebook does not block .xyz domains. Mark Zuckerberg himself even used one - just search "Mark Zuckerberg .xyz"
