go to academia.edu you will find a lot have been written on this. I have a paper uploaded too.
Bt you have to have a good practice of time management for Ur study and there are lots of study skills you can adopts. u might be practicing a study skills not suiting Ur nature.

You need to have a pen and jotter. Reading is an active process. Jot down important points which will help you during revision.

Get all the available past questions but don't depend totally on them.

Get the course outline and cover it.

Buy and read atleast 2 textbooks on the course.

Psychology textbooks are very costly.... Hence I download from play store
