If only is guilty of the said allegations then he should face the full wrath of the law, but this prosecution should not only be limited to oppositions alone but anyone found guilty irrespective of their political views

Saraki, Please... We know you are as guilty as every other crook in this present administration... This only came up because you dared to decamp from the sanctuary of looters (APC). grin

EFCC has finally and truly been laid to rest... SHAME!!!

EFCC under Yar'Adua was probing how saraki and his cronies bankrupted Societe Bank before the death of Yar'Adua. Jonathan left him when his immunity as a governor expired. Buhari took him as a son but Mesujamba was too over ambitious and selfish.

EFCC should do their work silently, let's just hear that the court has sentence people instead of coming to media first.

Probe is good irrespective of the personalities involved especially where there is no political undertone or witch-hunt involved. I have always been very skeptical of the Buhari so-called fight against corruption. No APC stalwart has ever been convicted. Orji-Kalu looting Nig-limited and Akpabio AKS unlimited have left the newsstand. They are now saints. We need to seriously and diligently prosecute all yam eaters irrespective of political leaning. Nigerians should also learn to help functional governance by bringing their protest-pressure to bear on bad governance/ miss-probes.

Because aren't competent enough to differentiate the truth from falsehood. Dariye and Jolly Nyame hAve been convicted and they are both APC members. Even while Dariye was serving as a senator. Olodo oshi

The 2 governors convicted are not APC members or selective foolishness is worrying you ? Nyame & Dariye were sent to jail by your father ba ?

Has that stopped Biafra fools from insulting Buhari ?

But COZA protesters won't protest to ensure justice is served on this matter and that the money recovered isn't diverted. When it comes to another persons business, they start forming Darth Vader.

HeWrites:
Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said that he is innocent of fraud allegations against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Igbere TV reports.

Saraki, in a statement by his media adviser, Yusuph Olaniyonu, made available to Igbere TV on Monday said he was not engaged in any media war with the EFCC.

The commission had claimed that Saraki withdrew N12 billion in cash from the treasury of the Kwara State Government while he was governor of the state between 2003 and 2011.

In reaction, Saraki said he had been the one at the receiving end of media onslaught reportedly sponsored by EFCC.

“We need to reiterate that Dr. Saraki is not interested in obstructing any investigation by the EFCC or any security agency. While the EFCC claims that it is investigating the Office of the Senate President between 2015 and 2019, we make bold to say that it is just on a wild goose chase.

“That Office has nothing to do with contract awards and handling of the finances of the National Assembly. These are functions of the bureaucracy of the National Assembly, otherwise known as the National Assembly Management.

“On its persistent probe of the tenure of Dr. Saraki as Governor of Kwara State between 2003 and 2011, we maintain that all the issues the EFCC are presently raising were the same issues that are contained in four of the charges filed before the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) and taken before the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court,” the statement said.

It also said that in EFCC’s “desperation to nail Dr. Saraki, some of the charges that contained insinuations that Kwara State funds were paid into accounts owned by him and companies in which he has interests were filed. And twice, the charges went before the highest court in the land and he was discharged and acquitted.”

Did he say PDP and APC are not the same? Why insulting him? If you feel like defending Saraki, be bold to do so. He expressed his opinion without referring to PDP or APC.

I think you seriously need to have your brain checked. Saraki said, Dad let's give opportunity to other Kwarans to contribute their parts in the growth & development of Kwara state before they'll see us as been greedy yet gullible & brainless people like you can't see his side of generosity. Still condemning instead of applauding him.
What have you contributed in your own state or your useless father who failed to give you quality train
Have you people even had opportunity to be in position of leadership, to even know what leadership entails
I pity you & your generation

My brother, the one wey pain me pass na when l do the Mathematics of that N12 billion in the 4 years he was governing Kwarai. That gives N3b per year or N250 million per month. Chai can you imagine, an individual pocketing N250 million Every month for 48 months. Politicians (Saraki) are heartless. No wonder they make it a "do and die affair". FECC ride on drop all name-calling and threat aside. Investigate him and hand him to justice to do and implement the correct thing. By the way that should be before every kobo is retrieved. The country seriously needs that.
