From the tranquility of its natural landscapes to the hustle and bustle of downtown and the beauty of its promenade passing through the exuberance of its skyscrapers. Abu Dhabi offers its visitors a unique experience.
Abu Dhabi is located on an island that stretches towards the west coast of the Persian Gulf. Previously, it was a place known worldwide for the manufacture of pearls. Today it is one of the most important political and financial centers on the planet. It is also the home of a very welcoming multicultural society that has a gastronomic offer that delights lovers of good cuisine.
It is an extremely versatile city. In fact, Abu Dhabi offers the possibility to visit more than 2000 parks and green areas, enjoy pleasant afternoons on the beach, stroll along a Formula 1 track and find authentic bargains in its souk. There is so much to do that if you are planning a trip to Abu Dhabi, you should start organizing your stay by reading this guide.

1. Its impressive architecture
Abu Dhabi is a city that houses spectacular buildings. Among them, the Etihad Towers, with their elegant geometry, and the Baynunah Tower deserve special mention. The same goes for the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center. The Capital Gate, with its 18 degrees of inclination, is an incredible skyscraper located next to the National Exhibition Center of Abu Dhabi and the most inclined building in the world.

2. Beachfront life and outdoor adventure sports
There are many ways to take advantage of the benefits of the Abu Dhabi waterfront. You can start with a quiet ferry ride to Zaya Nurai Island or any other to enjoy the various water sports that can be practiced there. You will also find it very pleasant to rest at Corniche Beach, contemplate a camel race or travel the dunes on a quad.

3. The incredible Arab culture
In Abu Dhabi, there are many museums and exhibitions to visit. However, the best way to immerse you in the Arab culture is in the coffee shops called sheesha. You will also do it with bargaining in the souk or any other open-air market. In Al Ain, which is considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and houses the oldest permanent settlement in the world, you will find classic accommodation. The best example is offered by the Arabian Nights Village.

4. Star food
Arab food can be found everywhere. However, Abu Dhabi enjoys a special way. If you like pork, you can only buy it in very specific places, since Muslims do not consume it. The same happens with alcohol.

5. The paradise of shopaholics
Shopping is considered the national sport in Abu Dhabi. In this city, it is possible to find almost anything. Of course, do not forget that during the Muslim festivities and, especially, in the month of Ramadan, the hours of the shops are different from the rest of the year.

6. Liwa: discover a sea of sand
Abu Dhabi rises over the Arabian Desert in an incredible display of contemporary technical progress. Therefore, it is surrounded by areas plagued by dunes. In fact, around Liwa Oasis, the birthplace of the members of the royal family for centuries, are located the largest in the world
