‘Leave Fatoyinbo, COZA for God to judge’ – Primate Ayodele reacts to rape allegations, blasts CAN,PFN,Others

For the past one week, the social media space has been agog over the rape allegations against the founder of the commonwealth of Zion assembly (COZA) by popular celebrity photographer and her husband, Busola Dakolo and Timi Dakolo respectively.
This has brought a lot of confusion in the atmosphere as people are now seen professing supports for the parties, engaging in social media war with each other.

As a result of this, some Nigerians led a protest to the church in Abuja and asked the pastor to step down due to the allegation, some of his members also publicly denounced being a member of the church again.

This led to the Pastor stepping down and taking a leave of absence till he will be able to clear his name from the mess.
So many pastors have commented on this issue, some supporting the pastor and some condemning him, however, one of the wisest reactions so far has emanated from Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical church, based in Lagos.

He made it known that whatever might have happened between Busola Dakolo and Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, no one has the right to judge except God who sees the secret things.

‘Fatoyinbo’s call is divine, judging him is a sin against God, no one has the right to judge him, even if the story later turn out to be true, only God can judge him, He isn’t a minister and no one should ask him to step down, he is the one with the divine call and mandate to run his church, no one has an influence over that’.

He made it known that he has never heard of COZA or Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo before but due to the kind of unnecessary publicity the story got, he has gotten to know about him and that Nigerians give importance to what is less important.
He further blasted the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria and other Christian body for doing very little over the years to protect Christianity.

He stated that the Islamic body is far more united that the Christian body and this is why issues are always facing the Christians more.

He urged Nigerians to keep calm on the issue and leave Biodun Fatoyinbo to face God’s judgment if it turns out to be true.

They keep using God to deceive Africans, God will not do anything here. this situation needs realistic approach, that's how American's and Europeans tackle crime, they can't live it in God's hands, cos they are sane and the justice system is working. Nobody can decieve me with "live it for God" that's just stupid..I'll be damned to leave anything for God who clearly watches children getting raped and does nothing about it. I tackle my issues with realistic methods. But this is Nigeria, once you mention God everyone will be gripped with fear. Not for me tho. Thanks
