Assuming this senator apologises, takes her to the hispital etc and she feels satisfied. She can approach the court for withdrawal.

Yes, while she can withdraw a civil case (instituted by her against the Senator for damages), she can't do same for a criminal case, since it will be The State or FGN vs Elisha Abbo & not her as an individual vs Elisha Abbo.

The prosecution be it the ICPC, EFCC, POLICE, ETC will do the withdrawal. But the main meat is that the victim wants it.
