1. Bassogog And Njie Swapped Places

The duo of Christian Bassogog and Clinton Njie started on the right and left wings respectively but later switched places as the left footed Bassogog had difficulty dealing with Nigeria's right footed left back Ola Aina.

The Nigerian defender was primed to deal with his shifting of the ball to his dominant foot.

The switch seemed to worked a trick as the Eagles were troubled.

2. Sloppy Defending By The Eagles

The Eagles were put under tremendous pressure by the Cameroonian attackers and that forced some calamitous clearances by the Eagles' defenders.

3. The Wings Remains Nigeria's Best Option

The pace of Ahmed Musa and Moses Simon, and later Samuel Chukwueze, proved to be a huge advantage for Nigeria.

It proved that the Nigerian team have many match winners and having nine attackers might be blessing in disguise despite criticisms from some Nigerians.

Oya na

Here are my five Takeaway :

1.the oyinbo wall has cracked already. Without Omeruo's presence, they will fall like a pack of cards. One can't even choose between the duo who can effectively partner Omeruo in defense.

2.the midfield trio of ndidi, etebor, iwobi ran their lungs out against the cameroonians. Iwobi showed what he is capable of, he put the cameroonians to the sword with his breadth taking goal.

3.Simon Moses defensive attributes is not in doubt but Chukwueze offers more offensively. No doubts that the cameroonians had to assign two players to neutralize his threat. His introduction caused panic to the cameroonians defense. His passes to Ighalo and Musa were a delight to behold. Dude created 3 clear cut chances. He should start next match.

4.Ighalo deserves his MOM award, got 2 goals and an assist. His dropping deep to midfield, holdup plays, skills and dribbles are commendable.
As for Musa, he needs to work on his final pass. He should stop that habit of trying to always to control the ball, he should be able to shoot as the ball comes to his feet.

5.If Collins is fit, he should start at Left back and Ola Aina revert back to his favorite position which is Right back.
Awaziem has done pretty well at Right back.

It's time to put the noisy South Africans to the sword on Wednesday.
Good luck to the super eagles

Hopefully we will soar high on Wednesday. Amen
