Irish Police ‘Gardaí’ Shut Down Naira Marley’s show in Dublin, Ireland [DETAILS]

Embattled Nigerian Artiste who made news recently after being arrested and detained by the EFCC for Internet fraud in Nigeria has once again found himself in the news relating with crime and officers of the law.


The Nigerian Artiste was scheduled to headline and perform at a Dublin Gig at Lost Lane in Grafton Street on Saturday the 6th of July 2019; 

He arrived at the Dublin Airport at around 13:00 According to a post seen on his Snapchat Story. But he was unable to perform as the show was shut down by the Irish Police' Gardai' after a gang of youths was spotted fleeing the scene.

There were reports about a video showing 30 young men running out of the premises in the early hours of Sunday morning which left everyone at the adjoining bar puzzled and prompted some of them to alert the police.

The Gardai Later came to close the scene, driving everyone out of the Club to secure the location, The gardai have since confirmed that several weapons have been seized and a man in his 20's arrested in connection with the incident.

According to Eye Witness at the scene, 'the gardai arrived at the scene and "drove everyone out" before shutting the showdown.

"People were waiting for the artist to perform when all of a sudden gardai came to the venue, drove everyone out and shut it down.

"They [the crowd] filled the street around the venue confused as to where to go and some [were] angry at the organizers asking for a refund."

According to the Gardai, Investigations are ongoing.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardai are investigating an incident where a large number of male youths congregated outside premises on Adam Court, Dublin 2 at approximately 1 am on the 7th of July 2019.

"A number of offensive weapons were located after the youths departed and were seized by Gardaí. One male in his early 20s was arrested and was charged in relation to this offence. Investigations are ongoing."
