Using our device all day is now more like a norm. We are always on our device pressing, clicking, typing and lots more. We spend almost the whole day staring at the screen which could have adverse effects on our eyes, but hey guys!

Phone manufacturers are faced with the daunting task of including features to discourage prolonged usage of mobile phones, or features that would make prolonged usage a bit safer.

One of such feature is the dark mode.
I asked this question last week, Turns out the dark mode doesn’t just gather appeal for obvious reasons but also turns the screen back ground to black. This reduces the light intensity entering the eyes during usage. The only down side to this feature on the Infinix S4 is that it only applies to SMS app on the device. This may be because the rest of the device is colorful and no way would a black background fit in. We hope in the future the phone manufacturers would be able to find a way around it.
Anyways, here are simple steps on how to set it up.

Steps to Activate Dark Mode

Step 1: Open the default SMS app.

Step 2: Click on the 3 dots at the top right hand corner of the screen.

Step 3: Select Enable Dark Mode.

That’s all.

Repeat same process to deactivate.
