One of our clients (in the non-profit sector) is seriously searching for Programs Officer (Finance & Accounts), and a program officer (Gender & Advocacy).

Our client is known to handle community development around Niger Delta and works in collaboration with Chevron, ExxonMobil, US Embassy, European Union, etc.

The Accounts Officer will primarily be responsible for cash management, organizing, transmitting and filing the organization's monthly financial information inclusive of vouchers, bank information, financial correspondence, etc. The Accounts officer will deal with all cash receipts and payments etc.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
B.Sc or HND Degree in Accountancy; knowledge of accounting software (Peachtree) will be an added advantage
At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position, preferably with an NGO
Demonstrable commitment to support teamwork.
Demonstrable IT skills is essential
MUST RESIDE IN WARRI/DELTA STATE, OR WILLING TO RELOCATE.

The Programs Officer (Gender and Advocacy) will manage the department which aims at supporting the integration of a gender perspective into the projects' work of the Foundation to ensure that gender is mainstreamed and strengthened at all times. The position supports the development of appropriate advocacy strategies in Gender Mainstreaming to ensure the development and delivery of strategic and impactful advocacy.
Qualification, Skills, and Experience;
Degree in Social Sciences, Arts or Humanities is essential
At least 3 years of working experience, preferably with an NGO.
Demonstrated experience in development Work, Developing training materials for integrating gender mainstreaming.
Excellent understanding of the socio-cultural issues of Gender and challenges of working in communities with vulnerable population.
Demonstrable commitment to support teamwork.
Demonstrable oral and written communication skills is essential.
Demonstrable IT skills are essential.
MUST RESIDE IN WARRI/DELTA STATE, OR WILLING TO RELOCATE.
