SSANU ZEC PAY COURTESY VISIT TO AE-FUNAI VC
Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, Zonal Executive Council, yesterday, 10th July, 2019, held their conference in Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State at the university’s main auditorium.
Receiving the Executives of SSANU at the Vice-Chancellor’s Conference Room, Prof. Philip Omoke, representing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chinedum Nwajiuba noted that SSANU-AE-FUNAI branch has been very active, cooperative and has consistently shown interest in the activities and affairs of the university.

Comrade (Dr.) Leku L.Ador,National Vice- President, SSANU Eastern Zone, noted that Prof. Nwajiuba has endeared himself to the union and maintained that he is humble and remained an achiever per excellence. He emphasized that SSANU is a peace making and dialogue-oriented union. He affirmed that AE-FUNAI Vice-Chancellor has done all, received all and gotten all in prompt promotion of staff, salary payment, staff capacity building and unequalled vigorous infrastructural development. He however prayed he should not allow ‘a drop of kerosene to filter waters of his track record’
Comrade Emmanuel Chigbata, AE-FUNAI Branch Chairman, thanked the labour-friendly Vice-Chancellor for his full support to the union through prompt payment of allowances, upgrade, proper placement and industrial harmony, existing in the university among others. He further called on the management to be mindful of introducing any policy that will encourage selective promotion and witch-hunting.
