It will be in their best interest to return that money or face charges. This particular video shows their faces, license plates and types of cars. The police will ask everyone to return whatever was picked and not face any charges. A smart person would return some money and keep the rest, they cannot know how much was picked.

Drivers were forced to pulled over when the door of an armored truck, belonging to GardaWorld Corp., accidentally swung open while driving along Interstate 285 Tuesday evening --- spilling hard cash everywhere.

The Video above shows dozens of drivers pulling over to the side of the road in Dunwoody, Georgia, and dashing for the cash.

City of Dunwoody Sgt. Robert Parsons estimated about $175,000 (or about ₦63 million) spilled out onto the highway.

According to the Police department, drivers will not be able to keep the stolen cash :

The City of Dunwoody twitter page showed one person who turned over cash, with the message:

Hmmmmm... Cases Like This Hardly Happens In Nigeria. Even If It Happens, Fully-armed Police officers Are There To Protect The Cool Cash! .

In the richest country in the world, people still stop to steal free money.
One would have thought they'd have no need for such... interesting...
Goes to show that any small thing, Americans will lose their senses. I can't imagine this happening in Japan. Not one person will stoop so low.

American bullion vans are not escorted by police only the driver and one other armed private security who picks up the money along the way.

Those people can easily be traced, as long as they’re still in America.

Can the number of notes they picked be traced?
If I pick 100pieces of the note and return 20pieces, will they know that I am keeping 80pieces.

This kind of thing keep happening in these foreign countries. The last time I read such news, those that picked the money were asked to keep it with them and make use of it. No one was arrested or prosecuted for picking the notes.

That place is a country that has good security outfit. Can u imagine a bullion van loaded with currencies, no padlock, no security escort, just the driver and his truck. Wen will it be so down here?
