IN THE SCHOOL OF LIFE


There's a school I knew about,
That's filled up with the crowds.
We by birth qualified to attend it
And no way we can shun or avoid it
Is either we learn to get the best out of it,
Or we choose to fail out gnashing up our teeth.


You'll always complain of bitter experience,
If you're in this school and lacks resilience.
Is a place without soil but you can sink.
A world without cloud but you could fly.
There's no visible ground but you can bounce.
And only the life in your years that counts.


Where you get the tests before the lessons.
Where there is a rule for every blessing.
You can't survive without possibility.
And giving up is counted as vanity.


Is a place of many people,
but thousands persons.
A deck of many thought
but millions reasonings.
A tale of one body,
but different spirit.
Just one journey,
but uncountless routines.


A learning arena where there's no real teacher.
Where people fly high with no real feather.
A beautiful place for some with no makeup nor filters.
And for some so ugly and dull,even if they had all that glitters.


A place where there are rules and breakers.
A gathering of born winners and losers.
A place where love is preached,but hatred is shown.
An avenue where we talk unity but disunity grows.


Is a realm where you're a loser if you see yourself losing.
And you win if you picture yourself lifting up the trophy.
Whatever you give to it would reflects back to you.
And how you perceive yourself it would present you.


Some souls dispised life and viewed it as a storm.
Not knowing what they see is what they've become.
They sowed complaints and get remorse as income.
But still life is a school they can never evade from.


It's not because things are bad that made you sad,
It's because you are sad that's why things are bad.
Though life is a blessing, it would pose you challenges too.
You need to see the treasure to scale it all through.
