POSITION: PROJECT ENGINEER


QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• HND/BSC Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of Upper Credit/Second Class Upper Division

• Proficiency in MS portfolio, MS Project & PLS Card is a mandatory requirement
.
• Membership of Nigerian Society of Engineers, COREN

• Minimum of 5 years cognate post qualification experience in Building Sector, M & E and Power projects.


JOB DESCRIPTION

• A prospective holder of this position must be willing and ready to work in any part of the country.

• Ensures timely completion of engineering deliverables within man-hour budget.

• Ensures technical preparations for projects.

• Attends site meetings with Clients and other Contractors.

• Ensures that technical preparations result into cost-efficient project execution in accordance with contractual, legislative, regulatory, company, and commercial requirements.

• Provides concepts and methods for fabrication, transportation, construction and installation.

• Ensures that technical concept and method is in accordance with common industrial best practice.

• Applies the company’s technical expertise to the maximum extent.

• Provides engineering support during the execution phase of projects.

• Ensures preparation and maintenance of Engineering Basis.

• Prepares Engineering Planning documents

• Coordinates, plan, control and provides progress reporting of engineering activities for projects.

• Provides technical liaison with client, Procurement Coordinator and subcontractors.

• Coordinates engineering subcontractors.

• Prepares Project Design Drawings, Shop Drawings and “As Built Drawing

• Ensures adherence to the Company Management System (CMS) applicable to the field of responsibility.

• Proposes, stimulates and implements optimization and improvements in areas of responsibility.

• Supervises the Technician and Sub Contractors on-site during Installation
