The California Auto Museum in downtown Sacramento, USA, exhibits its Micro Car for the first time in seven years and they boast of over 20 of the cutest and most practical cars ever made!

The California Automobile Museum focuses on automotive history that is primarily significant to California and the United States. But special temporary exhibits allow them to broaden their scope and also focus on Europe and Japan.

There are many definitions of a microcar but the general consensus is as follows:
• Always has small engine, typically under 700cc
• Small physical size
• Made after World War II
• Often but not always:
Three wheels, quirky styling,
Two-stroke engine.
• Mandatory: Designed and made with economy as primary consideration
In this exhibit, the museum displayed post-war cars that were under 700cc, or just barely over 1,000cc level.

Microcars are cute and strange! The cars are attractive for that reason alone.
