Please, if we're talking about human beings, let's not mention Bash Ali.

If he want's to promote his death match, he should go and seek a boxing promoter who also doubles as an undertaker.

President Goodluck Jonathan may be a wasteful spender, but he is not a boxing promoter or sponsor. If at all Bash Ali wants the government to sponsor his final match, does he not know where the Ministry of Sports is? Or better still the Nigerian Boxing Federation?

Bash Ali and Raymond Dokpesi are very good friends, this may just be some ploy by the IBB Campaign Organization to entrap the President into causing the death of Bash Ali or to accuse Goodluck Jonathan of wasteful spending.

If Goodluck goes to see militants, or bomb blast or aircrash victims, it's because of the critical nature of their situation. But Bash Ali has been planning a boxing match for more than 4 years now and even the most controversial boxing promoters have not deemed his venture profitable. Why should any government or President for that matter take up the challenge?
