Police have arraigned one Mr. George Uboh, the whistle-blower for alleged defamation against the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.

The charge sheet, which was published on the website of an online medium, Sahara Reporters, was filed at the FCT High Court, Abuja, following a petition against the CBN governor for alleged N232bn fraud.

One of the counts read,

“That you George Ubom ‘m’ on or about the 12th day of May, 2019, within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, did.....https://janefblog.com/7397-2police-arraign-whistle-blower-who-accused-cbn-governor-of-n232bn-fraud/

Good.

Let him prove it in court or bear the consequences of bearing false witness.
