Jose Mourinho is available. Why not go for him?

What does Peterside Idah know? Does he think being a coach comes easy? Constructive criticism is welcomed, but saying Rohr doesn't know what he's doing is not fair. Rohr has done well. There should be room for continuity.

Don't mind him

Sunday Oliseh did worse on T.v. would not allow Stephen Keshi coach in peace, correcting every tactic, until they gave him the same job. Succeeded in taking super eagles five steps backwards

Morocco is desperately after him yet he's 66
Club football coaching is far more demanding than national team coaching so for his age the dude is still very relevant
Allow him retire voluntarily instead of firing him.
if he is soo good why send him on refresher

In fact he should pay Nigeria
Cos before he came to nigeria is cv was blank
We have the material give it to amunike he will win AFCON

Even you can gamble with our team an be a see as a good coach

Keep the man.
He needs to perfect the young squad.
The team will get batter with Rohr as manager.
Don't sack him...getting another coach will lead to another session of trial and error - the same stage that the current coach has passed

I concur. So far, this is the best comment.

To do what

1 After 3 years no first eleven
2 Poor match reading
3 Poor tactics
4 continues player rotation
5 no input on the nigerian league always looking for players abroad even when we have better option here

Akpeyi was in bench warmer for his south african club he only played 6 game last seson yet he was chosen above nigeria league best theophilus afolokai and even ezenwa

There's is nothing more he can add to us, he needs the new environment more
Abeg he should go to morrocco

Its best to know when to walk away ask the ex morocco coach

And let the seach or appointment of the new coach start imidiatly

better oil dey your head bros. Imagine not knowing when not to play mikel , when to play chukuewe ...i wondered where ezenwa was all through the competition ...we didn't even deserve to come third honestly... our squad is still fairly young and with our growing talent in the NPL , we need a sound coach to harness and manage these talent

Rohr has done well, he should stay in the job and continue building... He has brought in a lot of young and professional players to the national team....

The afcon result is very fair, Algeria and Senegal deserved to get to the final... Nigeria deserved to get to at least bronze medal...

It's a very fair result.

Rohr should stay on... Nff should do all they can do to keep him on the job...

We need to purge out the mindset of mediocrity if we really want to move on to greater height as a nation.. The problem Nigerians or I personally and well meaning Nigerians have with rohr is not solely his result but performance on field of play....

Let me ask you this ?

Which of their matches was played and you put your both hands on your head... Lol...with the expression "eh e remain small e for enter"

None...he needs to go after 3 years and 5 months...let him leave

Wrong! Renard is now the new coach for Saudi Arabia

Oh really......is this progression or retrogression... I don't even regard him as a mid class manager....there better young managers out there if only the selection process is fair

Local coaches took super eagles to 3rd place in past nations cup so what has this foreign coach done differently, look at the 2 finalists in the AFCON, they were indigenous coaches.

Is late Stephen keshi a foreign coach?
Get informed

westahorf was worse when he started but he allowed to stay in his post for 5years and in the end we won the nations cup. he shld be given a chance to build the team.

I'm %100 sure if you were the one coughing out $46000 monthly wages of rohr....you would have ordered for his head to be served on a plate

Renard, Overrated? You certainly don't know African Football. Renard took a lowly Zambian side to AFCON Victory in 2012. Repeated the same feat with Ivory Coast in 2015, who had become perennial underachievers.

Now Morocco is the most entertaining side in Africa. Did you watch 2018 World cup where they matched giants Spain and Portugal might for mi

Took 9 points from their group at the just concluded AFCON. Were only unlucky to be eliminated on penalties after missing a stoppage time Penalty.

Harve Renard is the best coach in African Football. Only coach that comes close is his former boss, Claude Le Roy, but you don't know him, do you?

Was he an assistant to "witch doctor"?

Says who?

Yeah. He Assisted Le Roy in coaching the Chinese side Shanghai Cosco in the early 2000s.

We have to accept where we are.... Our players are mediocre... Fact... Don't know why people are expecting them to win every tournament

and if u keep sacking every coach how wld u get a stable & organize team that can challenge for trophies? also do u have top rated players in the nigerian team? when last did nigeria go to the afcon? when last did nigeria qualify for a tournament with 3 games to spare? we must always depend on other teams and wait till the final day befor we knw our faith. all that changed when he came. he brought stabilty to the national team.

Oh....so qualifying for a tournament like Afcon with 3 games to spare is an achievement.... Oh jeez.... If we fail to move away from this mentality as a people, having it at the back of our mind that as Nigerians we deserve better....No one expected him to win the tournament after all but with resources at his disposal and time, 3½ years...he is long due to quit the job.... Chelsea fc qualified for Uefa champions league ...won Europa and went ahead to relieve the manager of his duties because they felt they deserve more as a club....statistics shows Chelsea has used over 10 managers in last 15 years....

Rohr has given us his best...he needs to go....
