The content of the bible has never changed and God himself never changed but the pastors and churches has changed drastically. Formally in the house of God and Crusades, holiness and repentance have been the usual topics but nowadays prosperity, materialism, success, breakthrough and deliverance remains the only topics. Pastors now run around repentance not going deep in it. They now run round the truth due to there selfish interest of exploiting the congregation of their fund.
Even the bible made us to understand that it will be easier for a camel to pass through the hole of a tiny needle than a rich man to enter into into the kingdom of God but pastors nowadays jump those topics and quotes only the topic that inspire you to give all you have to them. They(pastors) get richer every day while the congregation gets poorer every day.
There is no way you can serve God and mammon at the same time. Most pastors nowadays exploit the poor congregation buying jets, houses, companies both in Nigeria and outside the country while 80% of the congregation whom he exploited couldn't even afford a meal, and the little that comes to them is being taken away from them in the church by the pastor after brainwashing them.
Jesus did not live a luxurious life and pastors are the number one people that are supposed to live a Christ-like life but instead they are living the opposite of Christ life. Those who live opposite of Christ life are non Christian and this means that 95% of Nigerian pastors are not Christians. Pastoring has now become the easiest and fastest means of making millions. May God have mercy on them.
Truth is bitter,
