Information technology is driving the emergence of businesses across Africa, as in other parts of the world. With digitization spreading across Africa, in a bid to diversify economies and create more jobs, there is an increased need to ensure that IT investments are aligned with business strategic objectives and that critical resources and risks are properly managed thus the need for adoption of an IT Governance framework.

The prospects and emerging trends, methods and practices relating to the governance of IT across Africa.
Recommendations for alignment with global practices and trends as well as a critical look at COBIT 2019.
Differences between COBIT 5 and COBIT 2019 as well as implications of the changes
