The A-list cast of Fast & Furious 9 have stopped filming on the blockbuster after a "serious" on-set injury.
A stuntman working on the action-adventure movie was hurt at Leavesden Studios in Watford on Monday (July 22), with police and paramedics responding to the scene. Filming was paused for the day.
"We had an injury on the set of Fast 9 today in Leavesden with one of our stuntmen," a Universal Pictures spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter . "We have halted production for the day to focus on this situation."

A representative for the East of England Ambulance Service also confirmed the incident: "An ambulance, three ambulance officer vehicles and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to Leavesden Studios shortly before midday today (July 22), following reports of a man injured in a fall.
"One patient with a serious head injury was transported to the Royal London Hospital by air ambulance."
The incident occurred nearly one month after after production started on Fast & Furious 9 , with cast members Vin Diesel, Nathalie Emmanuel, Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson recently fully reuniting for a first-look.

In addition to the main core cast,
Charlize Theron returns as the terrorist Cipher and Dame Helen Mirren reprises her role as Magdalene Shaw.
Newcomers include WWE star John Cena, Peaky Blinders actor Finn Cole and Ninja Assassin 's Anna Sawa.
Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are expected to sit out Fast & Furious 9 because of the release of their upcoming spin-off Hobbs and Shaw .
Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw will be released on August 2, 2019, while Fast & Furious 9 is expected to hit cinemas on May 20, 2020.
