That is an African Rock Python, which can grow to 20 feet in the wild. This particular specimen had evidently made itself at home in the ceiling of that building, where it was feasting on rats. Since rats are known consumers of millions of naira in currency notes, that snake should be awarded with a national honor, for its role in keeping away cash-eating rats from that government building. 6 Likes |
