In the previous chapter Uzi fought well against Aphopis but exhausted himself in the process, this made him pass out, Chapter 5 begins by relating the experiences Uzi has in his subconscious

When we last saw Ani, she was to be taken into custody until the god Oryus and Uzi Duke it out, then her fate would be determined. This explains Uzi's surprise seeing her and perhaps it would make him realise he is in a sort of dream world.

Woseki the presiding high priest has a strange visitor.

The visitor has been revealed to be the king over the 5 tribes in Darkhem, seeing Uzi has gotten a chance to become a god if he can defeat Oryus, King Kazi is ambitious and wants that chance. Woseki also reveals that he may have other motivations.
