Well, if you sit down and learn something, one day you will know it.
If after 100 years you haven't known a particular thing, then either you are not serious about it, or you just don't want to learn it.

Britain was more closer to the north than South

The reason I don't know
Horses
Horses are found in the north and not in the south.
Horses have been the movers of industry and the military for millennia.

The answer is horses.

Nigeria especially the north has always been backward-thinking and archaic.

Imagine all the most important people in a state coming out ceremoniously to see a plane land.

you are the most back ward person dear what is it with southerners with selfish and myopic sense of reasoning, this is history, this pre independence do you know where and how your great grand parents were at then?

I disagree with you ma. You would have done the same if you were an adult in 1928. Try to remember how you felt seeing an object fly for the first time. Also, imagine you being the first person to witness it in a while country.

Horses.
The north seemed ready for military action or transportation.
The south has nothing. No donkey, no camel. Nothing.
Just carry your load on your head and be waka-ing about on foot.

My grand father was paddling a canoe in the rivers of the delta. His father, was a hunter.
My grandad supplied palm fruit to the British in barrels. They used to take argic produce back to UK then and needed locals to gather it to the port in Warri/Delta region.

Enough of ancient pyramids and ancient planes brought by the British to Nigeria. What are the contributions of black Africans to aeroplanes beyond being passengers or the occasional Nigerian pilots?
Imagine a 1928 technology as at then. Nigerian of 2019 hasnt still build anytn close to this.Who did we offend oh God cry

Chai, that oyinbo engineer go Bleep Toto tire that very day. Local Hausa's go give free
Northerners started knowing human beings can practice prostitution when they started intense contact with south easterners. Even today, it is a belief in the North that every prostitute is from that region. So, Hausa don' t give free

No, it was because they found the northerners were living a more organised and civilized lives than the barbaric situation they met in the other side where people were still using leafs as cloth and twins were seen as abominations and only good sacrificial lambs for the gods.
