The Nigerian Senate has given a new appointment to Senator Elisha Abbo who allegedly slapped a nursing mother mercilessly, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that Senator Abbo was appointed as the Vice Chairman Committee of the Nigerian Navy.

Speaking on the appointment, Senator thanked the leadership of the Senate.

In his words

"I want to thank the leadership of the Senate for appointing me as the Vice Chairman Committee of the Nigerian Navy."

"Thank you people of Adamawa Northern Senatorial Zone."

"Thank you people of Adamawa State,

It’s a non issue, every senator is either a chairman or a deputy chairman of a committee.

There are 69 committees and just 109 senators. So you can understand the maths.

What is important is that he is still a serving senator, and so must contribute his own quota to the development of the country.

Some senators re even worse than the slapping senator. Some have actually had to kill to become senators. The fact that it’s not captured on CCTV is no defence. If you know how many of those former governors now senator say have slapped and even whipped people with kaboom in their office, you would understand the maths.

Well am only interested in the fact they he his now heading the committee of the Nigeria navy , the same navy that dismissed him from service due to to his health status, as for his previous offence well this is NIGERIA what do y'all expect
