Maimalari si not a town but the name of the Military barracks.

I repeat the Government is hiding the casualty figures on its service men.

May God continue to bless all our gallant soldiers

We should know there's is problem when an infantry trained soldier rises to become Chief of Army staff.

The quality of the Nigerian Army started deteriorating the moment the Northern led govt in the 60's lowered admission requirements to accommodate their less educated people to enroll in the NA, which Buhari, IBB, Abacha and the rest are beneficiary.

Check the history when the British are still coordinating the affairs of Nigeria, the Top military Chiefs are Southerners and it's because they are recruited on merit.

What would we think of a government that banned /restricted forex for milk? Would we good citizens think it over-reaching, even oppressive? Would we condemn it? Would we assume its policy-makers/CBN and many of its citizens were deeply out of touch with facts? Would we judge it as foolhardy in the extreme? Or, would we fail to notice?

Concentrate on the topic and stop trying to deflect to ipob.
Your country is mass burying slain soldiers sacrificed to Boko.
What do you have to say about it.
Ipob is not what is running your country aground.
We'll talk about them later.

if they stop joining, then northerners would take full control of the NA as they have always wanted
then why are southerners being deployed to Maiduguri when they're not used to the terrain

It takes actual zombies to keep supporting and encouraging a government that has all these atrocities to its credit and its currency of leadership is lies, deceit, nepotism and more lies. Call IPOB a million and one times, you will still stop and realise that many more persons across tribes that have no membership or relationship with IPOB have continued to call out this government for the demonic cancer that it is. This realisation however, comes only to those who aren't actually zombies or have actively dropped the zombie toga.

ISWAP is controlling territory in lake chad. In one article its said they have functional tax system and public projects. The main reason for that is because Nigerian military made business impossible so terrorists facilitated trade. The solution to some problems are counter intuitive.

Not surprising considering the Nigerian military is banking on military gear coming in 6 months to 2 years. They war could outlast Buhari's presidency. The secrecy isn't helpful.
The reality on ground. While Buhari is helping them take new territories with Ruga.

Gbosa for you jare. A sensible comment. Why would a trained army find it difficult to defeat rag-tag civilians? The leadership of the army have questions to answer. They have forgotten Badeh never enjoyed his loot. Nigerians don't learn. Buratai and the rest of them should look forward to the day of accountability to the Nigerian people.

slimfit1:
We shall investigate one day all senior officers will face what that Sambo is facing today tell us why trained soldiers can't face this terrorist worst of it you send them to battle unprepared. I hope these Generals leave room to face court-martial.
We waste human resources and materials. Obasanjo must be very brave and smart to finish them off in 2007. Buhari and chief of general staff must account for each death.
