All donations in Eckankar is voluntary. You give what you have. And if you don't have it's still okay. nobody will bother you There is no compulsion. Likewise Service in ECK is voluntary. Our Clergy are not paid.

To master your spiritual destiny, you at least have to be aware of what the five passions of the mind are.

Any of these passions—lust, anger, greed, attachment, and vanity—are simply just too much of a good thing.

What do you mean by spiritual backup?

You ask, “What is my mission in life?” Very specifically, it is to become a Coworker with God. How this breaks down for your particular talents is actually between God and you. It’s not for me to say.

If you love your work, your profession, or whatever you’re doing, then you’ll have some idea what it means to be a Coworker with God. It simply means that you’re doing what you want to do, what you enjoy doing.
