The Attention of the Senate Secretariat of National Association of university student's(NAUS) is draw to a purported report circulating social media about the illegal protests organise and initiated by Sowore former presidential aspirant of AAC of " Global Coalition For Security And Democracy In Nigeria"tag as #RevolutionNow.

We are concern about academic excellence, social justice and peace as ordained in our Constitution.

We want to make it clear and concise that, National Association of university student's(NAUS) have nothing to do with the said protest, as against report that university students leaders where fully mobilised for today's protest March in different part of the country which is targeting the perpetual peace we enjoyed

It is base on this, we want the general public and the security agencies to know that university student's are not part and parcel of the said protests March and nothing shall made us be part of it

As a student's body of higher citadel of learning in the country,we use this medium to condemn the plan revolution match in totality and their masterminds in all ramifications.

We have no knowledge of any collaborations with these group as such we want the general public to reject the news as fake and death on arrival.

We demand changes in the system but not unconstitutional way or forcefully removal of government elected in the poll

We disassociates our self with them as the Constitution warrant and urged to use other means which is legally back up and we will join them in the spirit of struggle and solidarity but this one count us out

We use this medium to call Nigeria government to salvage the problem of insecurity and tackle the brain drain saga and invest more on education as to arrest any move by student's of university to join the revolutionary calls in future.

Because University student's have the capacity to handle the situation with high intellectual approach in a way it will not led to bloodshed and destruction of properties.
