A 1kg bag of grain cost N2000. A 1.8kg bag of the same grain cost N3,500. Which is more expensive and by how much?

1KG = 1000grammes.

so 1gram = 2000 / 1000

1gram = #2

1.8Kg = 1800g

1gram = 3500 / 1800

1 gram = 1.94 to 2decimal places

therefore the 1kg bag is more expensive by

#2 - 1.94 = 0.6per gram

OR 0.6 x 1000 = #60 per kilo

Thank you. I guess you mean the 1kg bag is more expensive by N60 per kilo.
