Yes, Mary was never the mother of Jesus Christ of Nazareth no wonder the latter himself denied at least twice that Mary wasn't his mother.

Now the word mother has various meanings just like several other words.

It could mean one who gives birth to a child, one who nurtures a child, one who caters for a child and so on. But biologically speaking,
a mother is

A woman whose ovum was fertilized and became a fetus. This term does not apply to a woman who provided the uterus for the gestation of a fertilized ovum obtained from a donor and such was the case of Mary.

Mary merely provided her womb for the gestation of the baby Jesus.

There is no where in scripture that we are asked to pray to or worship Mary, the disciples never did such. In fact Mary herself had to be born again by the Holy Spirit in Acts chapter when the disciples camped in the upper room.

Finally, there is but one God, and one, only one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. Mary cannot be a mediator. This is a heresy and idolatry.
